LifeHealthEcoDrink: Replace the Colas with Vitamins

EcoDrink: Replace the Colas with Vitamins

EcoDrink

I drink way too much cola (soda). I quit years ago but the darn things crept back into my life. I know they are bad for me. I can reason it all out, however, the habit is so bad that a replacement was required.

Glaceau was my first replacement. It worked until I started gaining weight. Ugh. Each drink was 120 calories.

The next attempt was just plain tap water. Unfortunately the smell and taste of our tap water is bad. I also don’t trust the organics which might enter the water.

While walking the floor of Costco, a representative from SGN Nutrition was showing off EcoDrink. My daughter and I decided to give it a try.

There are 30 packs in the box, along with a water bottle. I rinsed off the water bottle, added water filtered via my ZeroWater filter, then added the powder.  After shaking, then waiting, the first sip was taken. Man – it was good. I’ll try more later. 🙂

But – don’t be misled by the headline. EcoDrink is once a day drink and not a Cola replacement. It’s a vitamin supplement.

Cons

EcoDrink contains sucralose (Splenda) and I’m not thrilled about it. Sugar is sugar and your body needs it to work properly, however, sucralose is added to EcoDrink to provide a sweet taste and replace the need for sugar. If your body reacts to sucralose then do not consume this drink.
