George Herbert Walker Bush was born June 12, 1924. He is a retired politician who served as the nation’s 41st president (1989-1993) and is the father of the 43rd president, George W. Bush. Prior to becoming president, Mr. Bush served as a a congressman, an ambassador, Director of Central Intelligence and the 43rd Vice President of the United States under Ronald Reagan.
