Main Page: Terms that Describe Vocabulary and Its Uses

Definition: 1. Category of small identifiable and manageable parts of a lesson that learners likely choose while learning; learning does not likely happen when learners do not sense or choose those parts in a lesson. Also called Active Ingredients of Learning (AIL).

2. An experimental research grounded hierarchy of observable sensations (sensory stimuli) from which learners choose while learning a lesson, such as choose something big before something small and something red before blue.

3. Measurable parts of a lesson that observers may monitor and teachers may initiate and alter during a lesson.
