XP recycle bin

My recycle bin looks full every time I start the computer, even though
there's nothing in it.
I can still "empty it" and then it looks empty, but always returns to
looking full when I reboot.

Any fixes for this?

Trow an empty notepad file in it then empty it again.

Put something in it and then empty it.

Thanks for the replys, but sadly that doesn't fix it.
No big deal, at least it still works normally. It just shows full until I
use it and empty it.
