Wireless Antenna Locations for Gateway 9550?

I picked up a free Gateway Solo 9550.
I also have an Intel mini pci bg wireless card.
Problem is the antennas.
I have a set of antennas from another laptop.
Need to determine where the antennas should go in the Gateway.
Can't find a service manual.
Found one disassembly guide, but it doesn't help with the
wireless antenna positions.
If they're in the display, I'll just give up and use the
cardbus card. Too much hassle.
But if there's space I can get at, I just might give it a try.

Suggestions?
Thanks, mike

Hi Mike... All laptops, netbooks, etc. that I have ever taken apart, has
the antenna in the top lid. Although it wouldn't hurt to try to have the
antenna somewhere else. They work better in the vertical position. But
in the horizontal position you might get half of the range or a bit better.

I also have some WiFi Cardbus cards too. They work fairly well. Those
apparently have the antenna mounted horizontally as well.
