When my desktop computer is waking up from standby there is no network
connection, somtimes there is a message - "network cable unpluged" but most
of the time the network disabeled.

restarting the comuter fixes the problem till the next standby and waking up.

    Please help

    Thanks

Have you tried disabling, then enabling the adapter in the Control Panel?

Check the properties of your NIC and see if there are Power Management
settings. One that should show is "Allow the computer to turn off this
device to save power" or something similar. Uncheck that box.
I don't use standby, but when mine comes out of hibernation, there is
usually a popup on my network sysmbol stating "Charter is now connected",
    and everything works just fine.

I have never found that the "standby" mode works properly in ANY
version of Windows. On my Win98 computer, it actually caused the
computer to lock up, and require a cold reboot. (shut off the power).
Then of course all the drives need to be scanned for errors upon
    rebooting.

My advice, DISABLE the standby mode completely. When you're done
using the computer, shut it off.

Start the Device Manager (Type "devmgmt.msc" into the "Run" box on the
Start Menu) and, to "see" all installed network adaptors, choose "View" :-
"Show hidden devices" from the top menus.

Quite often, especially if you have Bluetooth installed, you will have
extra "Virtual" network adaptors that are unused.

If you find any, after showing hidden devices, disable them all (if you
    never use them).
