windows media player

i am unable to play any videos from http://ca.yahoo.com/ News. i get the
message Error on page or Done, but no video or controls. i have windows 6 ,
service pack 2 and use internet explorer. i also haave media player. can u
help me . thank you

Windows 6 SP2,chk youre windows version,thier is no 6,only a 7...

"Error on page" is a javascript error which means there's actually a
problem with the web page and that'll likely break the code used to
put media player in the page.

Only their webmaster can reasonably fix that.

However it's *possible* they have fixed it but your browser held on to
the broken web page code.

To clear that to test it, head to Tools -> Internet Options in IE
browser, and Delete temporary internet files, then refresh the page by
pressing CTRL + R to get a fresh copy.


As a side issue, when I hewad to http://ca.yahoo.com/News , I end up
at http://ca.news.yahoo.com/ but I can't see any (obvious) videos
there.

The best plan to diagnose this is to copy and paste the complete web
address of a video playback page from your web browser's address bar
so we can take a look at what might be up.
