windows media player 11.with windows vista.

i have lots of video files which i would like to burn to dics but when i try
to play it in my media player message comes up do not know the file
ect.cannot find file .some i have downloaded from my youtube,is there
anything i can get to allow me to convert video to almost any format.i dont
know if its not got the right codecs or not or if it dont know the
format.please can you help.what software do i need .if any.

With video files,microsoft suggest that you R.click on the file,select
"save as"..Save to desktop or similiar.
