windows is crashing way too much. Too many errors in the Event Viewer.
Application errors events are 1000 and 1001. I have a new ASUS
motherboard, CPU and memory in this computer. The were hardly any with
the other mother board setup. I am running Windows XP 64.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290647#appliesto does not give me any
insight as to the problem.

Anyone know about these 1001 and 1001 events?

How can computer companies expect to sell computers with them crashing
all the time ?

Best advice that I can give you is to do a reformat and a clean install of XP SP3. I
base this on your post and explanation
