Windows blank black screen

[Doug]

When I start computer the windows startup screen shows then when it starts
to go to desktop I get a black screen and cursor but no icons, just a black
screen. I tried unpluging keyboard and mouse still just a blank screen. No
errors. Same thing if i boot in safe mode.

Fixed... Ran Win7 repair and did a restore to earlyer time.
