Windows 8: The Lower Left Corner

Where you place your mouse is important under Windows 8. For example, you knew you could get to the start page simply pushing the Windows key on the keyboard. Sometimes it is nicer to use the mouse.
Tip #1


But did you know that you could move your mouse to the lower left corner of the desktop and the popup view of the start page will show? It's true. Click on it - and you are now on the start page. The same is true if you are on the start page - hover the lower left corner and a popup view of the desktop is shown.

Tip #2


Place your mouse into the lower left corner, then right click on that popup image.



Now that is cool !

Hot corners are a nice feature for Windows 8. Hover over the bottom right-hand corner and you'll get a new set of options for shutdown, personalization, etc.
