Will removing a newer version of IE removes all the "favorites" sa

Hi all,
I have recently upgraded my Internet Explorer to version 8 but found that
some websites do not work properly with it. I'm wondering if I uninstall this
version 8 and go back to re-install version 6, will all my "favourites" (i.e.
links to my favourite websites) saved in the existing version 8 of IE be
transferred to version 6 automatically? I'm afraid of losing all the
"favourites" here if I uninstall any version of IE. Thanks.

At or near the top of the results will be a Microsoft knowledge base
article that explains what you need to know.

When done properly, your Favorites should be preservered when installing or
uninstalling an IE upgrade.

Before uninstalling IE8, do a little reading on IE8's Compatibility Mode:
