The company I worked for used to have an IT guy. He was bad and they fired
him and left me to figure out his work. Anyway, we have about 20 licenses
for Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2007 that I'd like to install on the
remaining machines in the company but have no disc and have no idea where to
download them from. This is a valid purchase and I have the 25 character
key. I thought I could download the trial version and then validate it with
the key, but was unsure if this was a good way to make it work.

Any help on this would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks and peace-

No you can't download a trial version because it looks like you have
what is commonly called Volume License Key and the disk to go with this
comes from Microsoft. Have you tried contacting Microsoft and explain
to them what the situation is. They will supply you with the special ID
and login details from where you can download the correct product. You
could also buy a Media Kit for your product from Microsoft and you
better do it quickly because Office 2010 will be released pretty soon
and so Office 2007 may not be "actively" supported to make people move
to the new product lines.
