That's funny. While I fully enjoy my win7 pro install, I NEVER worry if
Linux will boot or not. So where does your statement come from?
Actually, I don't worry about either one booting. They BOTH do a great
job for what I ask of them.

From http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa366796(VS.85).aspx

"PAE does not change the amount of virtual address space available to a
process. Each process running in 32-bit Windows is still limited to a 4
GB virtual address space."

Too bad for you that Microsoft has decided to stop having news groups.

I never said it was. I was just pointing out the superiority of Ubuntu
32 bits vs. Windows 32 bits.

No problem with sound here. Blaming Ubuntu for the fact that your sound
card isn't compatible is pretty lame.

Are you really that retarted? Did you read my post? I loaded Fedora
Linux and my sound card and Network connection both work the way it
should... In fact I'm using Fedora 11, isn't this version months older
than the new UbooBoo?? So tell me how my sound card is not compatible
with any version of Ubooboo but is compatible with a distro of linux
almost a year older than the new version of your shitty OS...

I had trouble getting Thunderbird loaded on UbooBoo, but no problems on
Fedora... My network connection was spotty at best using UbooBoo, at
times it was ok and most of the time it was like getting a 56k
connection, but again, no problems using Fedora.

So tell me Alias, when is this version of UbooBoo going to "finally
shoot Windows out of the proverbial window"??? Looks like not any time
soon, just another lame UbooBoo release...

I'll stick to a real OS in Windows7 and duel boot into Fedora Linux when
I need to...

Nope, checked all the settings. In fact both came up the same way, both
distro's were muted and both needed to repoint to my internal sound card for
a default setting. The difference is, Ubooboo wouldn't get sound and Fedora
did...

Did you check the hardware settings in the sound preferences?

Look Dumbass! I have been running windows or computers in general for
decades, never have I had any infestation of any kind ! I have never had one
of my computers blue screen at all. I use them intensively and constantly so
I stand behind my statement! Poor maintenance, poor installation and not
being careful of what you are doing are the only reasons! No wonder I do not
come here much anymore the intelligence has gone down to a unbelievably low
level. You are always here posting your bullshit that no one wants to hear

At least with Windows you can actually use quality software programs. With
Linux, you get INFERIOR Open Source programs that are about 10 years behind
the times.

Just as I thought. No intelligent comeback by Alias. You keep playing with
that shitty Ubuntu and the rest of us will get our work done with Windows.

People would rather pay for Windows and Windows applications than use FREE
Ubuntu. Imagine that! Oops.
