Having a problem logging into/loading windows (XP Home) from the welcome
screen.
Before today it always skipped the welcome screen and went straight to
loading the user, which is the way we want it, not sure why/how it changed.
Now it goes to the welcome screen and when I click on the user (no password
needed) it loads the user settings, flashes the desktop for a split second
and then saves the user settings and logs off again.
I tried opening last known good configuration, does the same thing. I tried
opening in safe mode, again it does the same thing. Tried safe mode with
comand prompt, same thing. I tried the CAD2 to get the pop up login and tried
logging in that way, again same thing. I don't know what else to try ~ any
suggestions?
