More people answered tablet or e-reader than wanted books or clothes.

I'm still startled by people I see reading anything in public. Most reading soft copies of books and magazines. Few newspapers, even in airports. An increasing number using e-readers. A few of us "old timers" still using Tablet PCs, and thus unwillingly sharing our reading with those near us. :) I wonder why people read in public what someone else wrote when they have a chance to see real people in real places doing real things in real time that they will never see again exactly as they missed it. Maybe for escape from reality, but that's for another thread.
