It is not a "virtual" copy of XP Pro, it is an actual copy of XP Pro.
Dl it and then go to run/winver.
Oops!

Or try running XP Mode in Win 7 without dl'ing the free, fully activated
copy of XP Pro SP3 that MS provides.
Oops!

If you have XP USB drivers and install your USB device in XP when
running XP Mode under Windows 7 they will work. There is no emulation
taking place. XP Mode is running an actual copy of XP Pro SP3 inside Win 7.

NO FRANK, IT IS A VIRTUAL MACHINE COPY OF WINDOWS XP SERVICE PACK 3, AND NOT
AN ACTUAL COPY OF XP, JUST FYI!

You are wrong (which is nothing new) and obviously you don't have XP
Mode installed do you.
It is an actual, activated copy of XP Pro SP3 running in a Virtual PC.
Got it?
Next time, get your facts straight or just STFU, ok.
