Virtual XP mode printer driver problem

    I have been using Win 7, 64 bit system which will not run some of my
    software which ran perfectly in XP. From previous posts, I upgraded to PRO,
    downloaded Virtual PC and XP mode. All runs fine. My software runs as
    expected. But, I am unable to install driver software for Brothers MFC-490
    printer. The install goes well until the last "step", then NADA. Anyone have
    experience with this problem?
