Hello

When I try to play videos online that use WMP, it will bring up the player
like its going to play it, but it only says "ready" and will not play. When I
hit the play button, it does not work either. I cannot play any video online
from any website using WMP. normal WMP works fine as far as i can tell. what
is going on and how do i fix it?

I updated WMP before writing this as well. Downloaded the newest version
that runs on my operating system, but none of it solved the problem. Thank
You!

If the video is in a web page, right click on the video playback area.

Often there will be a menu shown which includes an item "Error
Details". Write that down, and paste it here along with the exact
webpage address you're able to get an error details menu.

There could be a range of causes, but that info would greatly help us
to help you.

Cheers - Neil
