Using Windows Easy Transfer for Windows 7

I recently purchased a new machine with Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit, and need
to run Windows Easy Transfer on my old 32 Bit XP machine. A book I have
tells me to use the \Support\Migwiz\Migsetup.exe file from the installation
DVD. I have found the file on the DVD, but XP obviously won't let me run it
because it is 64 Bit. What can I do, if anything? Thanks.

Have you tried Windows XP's "Files and systems Transfer Wizard"? You
can get this from the "Accessories, systems Tools node in Start item.

This is probably what you want:

Windows Easy Transfer for transferring from Windows XP (32 bit) to Windows 7
