Uninstalled 2007 Trial, now all docs don't open

I used the 2007 Trial and uninstalled it, and now my docs do not open in the
2003 Version that came on my computer from the beginning. Any ideas? I do not
have the original CD.

Did you save your files as .docx or .doc? If it's the former you need to go
to Microsoft's site and download the 2007 compatibility pack for 2003.

I have done this and still my 2003 Office will not open, neither will any docs.

When you installed '07 did you install it separately from '03 or did you
upgrade? If you upgraded, when you uninstalled '07 '03 hit the trash with
it. Without the '03 CD you're in trouble.

I simply pushed the trial button on the Microsoft website. Then I did the
uninstall in add/remove components when the trial was about to expire. I
don't have the CD because the programs came already installed on the computer.

I'd check all the correspondence that came with your computer. They may
have sent you a disk, but you're not aware of it. The only other options
are to contact whomever you purchased the computer from and request the disk
or contact Microsoft, and this is a long shot, about the possibility of
getting a copy as long as you have the original key.

The manufacturer of the computer provided some method for you to
reinstall the "pre installed" software. Contact them for assistance in
using that method.

The error message reads, "The installation source for this product is not
available. Verify that the source exists and that you can access it."

This appears when I click on the Word 2003 icon.

Thank you for your help. Last question: Where can I find the key if I don't
have any other disks or information?

If you installed the Trial using the standard installation it will have
uninstalled 2003.
So unless you can find original installation media you are up the proverbial
creek, and the only option is to buy a version of Office, or use OpenOffice
