Unable to see Path / In Folder in Explorer?

Windows XP Home, service pack 3. Classic folders view.

When I open Windows Explorer I am unable to see the Path / In Folder detail.

I can see Name, Size, Type, Date Modified, and when I right click I'm
presented with a popup list of additional details I might want to see, but
no Path / In Folder option.

What am I missing here? Have I accidentally disabled some setting?

By the way, Search works OK- I see the results with the In Folder (Path)
detail, so why not in Explorer?

    Thanks!

Are you asking about which fields (columns) are available in Windows
Explorer? If so, there is no Path/InFolder field because you obviously know
in which folder is the folder as you are navigating through the folder tree.
If you are using the explorer view, the folder tree is in the left pane.
Even if you close the folder pane, the Address bar will show to where you
navigated (if you enabled Folder Options -> View -> Display the full path in
the Address bar). You'll even see the full path if you enable Folder
Options -> View tab -> Display full path in the title bar. If you are using
the myComputer view, you walk down into folders whose path is shown in the
    Address bar.

If you are asking about right-clicking on a file to select Properties from
the context menu, the Location field in the General tab tells you the path
    to the file.

    detail.

Tools -> Folder Options... -> View (tab) -> Advanced settings: (pane)

Check the "Display the full path in the address bar" and/or "Display the
full path in the title bar" choices.

Those are the only choices available in the explorer GUI ... search is
    different.
