I have been using MS Office Document Imaging: Scan New Document with my HP
scanner for a long time using Office 2007 and Windows Vista 64.
Now each attempt to scan with this program returns the error "Unable to
initialize scanner. Check scanner connection and scanner software."
I am able to scan with Windows Fax and Scan with no problems.
I have run Office Diagnostic with no problems found. I have installed all
available windows updates.
How can I get MS Office Document Imaging: Scan new Document to work again?
