Umoja Increases Student Academic Performance Dramatically

In 1997, less than 10% of Manley Career Academy High School (West side of Chicago) graduates went on to college. With Umoja Student Development Corporation’s support, that number has increased to more than 60% of seniors enrolling in postsecondary education after high school graduation.
