Best you STFU while you're maybe just a little bit ahead. Or chose to
continue making a complete and utter fool out of yourself in here.

Ubuntu is total and complete garbage, just like Linux in general.
Most people who manage to even get it installed without destroying
their Windows data in the process remove Ubuntu quickly because they
realize how much it sux. Linux is crap software and the public have
made their choice and it's Windows. Windows7 is the best selling
initial launch product that Amazon has ever had. Linux? you would be
hard pressed to find 10 people outside of a geek convention that use
it.

No, facts, just ill informed opinions. Why am I not surprised?

Use Google recently? They would disagree with you. Servers and corporate
offices, they run Linux. Doesn't mean you should, just that you're
opinionated and wrong.

it is sad for the linux zealots when in this day and age you can not even
give a product away for free. as a server os it is very good but it is a
joke to think that it is a good consumer desktop os. it is a nice toy for
geeks and lusers to play with in moms basement but anybody that believes
that every day users are going to use this clusterfuck mess of a geek toy is
either stupid or delusional or completely out of touch with reality.

if you gave away old cheese people would line up to get some. but you can
not even give linux away for free. these linux nuts need to wake up and open
their eyes and catch a breath of reality. if people would rather pay big
bucks for windows or macos than waste their time with your product then this
should tell you something. instead of doing something about it you all sit
around and do nothing but whine about windows. absolutely pathetic.

Nope. Even if Linux was indisputably superior to Windows, it would
still be very difficult to overcome Microsoft's head start, their
market power, their massive library of compatible software, and their
vendor-lock tricks.

*plonk* for excessive ignorance and stupidity.

Yeah? So why do you care? Use what works for you, and expect others to
do the same.

The one person who is always wrong is the one who presumes
to know what is best for everyone else. In this sense, you are the one
who is always wrong.

What "corporate offices" do you know that run Linux? If true it is good
advocacy point. I dont know ANY businesses using Linux on the
desktop. Servers, however, yes.

´When chairman Mao was asked what he thought of the French Revolution,
he said it was too early to say."

Take the long view.

Microsoft *wiil* die. No company, no technology stays dominant forever.
If you're old enough, remember Ma Bell? If you read history, it's full
of once dominant compaies and technologies that have fallen. Hell, just
look at GM. Once a titan of industrial production, now a pathetc shell.

That's your answer to everything: Ill informed opinion.

BULLSHIT. Ubuntu is free and still isn't the desktop OS leader. That's a
FACT. Something you know nothing about.
