running IE8...& in my case...it wants to run 'Adobe Flash Player....EVERY
SINGLE TIME I attempt to navigate to another site or window. why can't the
stupid flash player install itself to run automatically...am I doing
something wrong in my browser settings so as to cause it to ask every
time...???

[You should know better by now, Mark.] Always state your full Windows
version (e.g., WinXP SP3; WinXP 64-bit SP2; Vista SP1; Vista 64-bit SP2;
Win7; Win7 64-bit) as well as your IE version when posting in an IE-specific
forum or newsgroup. Please do so in your next reply.

How do you know the Adobe Flash Player add-on is installed? Do you see
it listed in the programs list?

If it is listed, is it also enabled?

Did you try uninstalling and reinstalling the add-on?

PA Bear: WinXP Pro SP3...(don't know what that has to do w/ anything,
but...)

Vanguard: yes...it's installed...have no idea how to configure
