This Newsgroup (Appreciation)

I have upgraded to Windows 7 (64bit) and spent the last 7 weeks
tweaking it to be exactly what I want. For years I have used the
newgroup to find answers to any problems that I had with XP or other
programs installed on XP. I have always--ALWAYS--been able to find
appropriate responses for my questions.

I greatly appreciate what I have learned here (helped me with tweaking
Win7) and will continue to check out the discussions.

Thanks much!

Thank you for your feedback

Microsoft Currently has a reward program for people who
constantly provide rich and valuable content to these newsgroups
and award them the "MVP" Status. As I was awarded for SBS

If there is someone who you feel has contributed and you feel deserves this
award
you can nominate Him/Her for this prestigious award.

To do so go to
http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/gp/mvpnominate

and Nominate them
And thank you for your kind words (on behalf of all MVPS and all who
contribute to this forum)

Thanks, the link explains how to nominate, now when and where do we vote?

Unfortunately I don't have a clue
I don't have a clue on how to become a MVP
(other than being nominated.)
How I became a MVP or How to even Retain my MVP status

In fact no one that I've talked to does
It's all Done by some people at Microsoft.
Behind closed doors
6 Months from now I may not be a MVP anymore.

It's a 1 year title although I've been contributing for 6
It's based on Past Contributions not future.)

As far as Voting, I don't you or I can?
(even I can't vote who becomes a MVP in my Field even..)
sorry I wish I knew...

and there is no Money Given to MVP's (too bad) LOL

You don't. Nomination just brings somebody to the attention of those
who make the decisions. Those people are Microsoft employees.
