No you can't stop it because this is a public newsgroup which has been
hijacked by lunatics who have escaped from the asylum. Their leader is
certain ALIAS and he is untouchable because he is very dirty and smelly.
If you are looking for Windows 7 newsgroups then Microsoft Forums are
your only option. However, you could download Microsoft's NNTP bridge
to read and post to forums using your newsreader like Outlook Express,
Windows Live Mail or Thunderbird. The latest version of bridge
(released about a week ago) can be downloaded from here:
