"The webpage you are viewing is trying to close" problem

Hi All,
We are moving to IE7 in a WinXP SPK3 business environment but we need to try
and supress the whole "webpage you are viewing is trying to close" message as
we get this on a regular basis when accessing an externally hosted web based
application and it is confusing our users as they think the issue is with the
web based application.

Can anyone advise how we can surpess this feature either via a registry hack
or GPO setting.

Thanks

Have you tried changing your security zone? (E.g. perhaps a higher level
zone does not force whatever this is?) Otherwise I would try using ProcMon
to find out what registry value is tested before the message is shown.

Good luck
