The U6 is below February 2009

President Barack Obama took office on January 20, 2009. The U6 unemployment rate for that month was 14.2 and quickly climbed to 15.1 by February. The U6 rate peaked in October 2009 and has been slowly decreasing.



If this rate goes down below the 14.2 rate than Mr. Obama has a nice election year surprise.
