As much fun as I made of the Microsoft Surface the other day - I'm looking at this product in terms of content creation. The iPad is great for consumption but creating documents is not good. Actually, presenting ideas with the iPad is a little awkward too.
Microsoft labeled this tablet a companion device but I'm wondering if it will be a good replacement for the hefty notebook (laptop) that is in my backpack whenever I travel.
First, there is the keyboard. That's good. Second, it'll run MS office.
Now - if this device hooks up to the Promethean Activboard (Smartboard) then it'll even be better for teachers in the classroom compared to the iPads popping up everywhere.
Come on Microsoft. Let me try one out.
