Actually, Microsoft is quite tolerant of ignorant points of view. You
really should try looking at what is posted there.

Very good but was it necessary to announce hereto the public at
large? Aren't there any Macintoshes' newsgroups that can take you
with your inability to set the correct system time?

The real problem is YOUR inability to READ time.
Since my system IS set correctly.
You must have missed the class "learning to tell time" in
kindergarten! I suggest you talk to your 3rd grade teacher and ask
her to teach you, or send you back to kindergarten.

As much as I hate to agree with the mummy's boy, he's right. Your time is
off by 50 minutes. You're in the future.

You need your head to be examined by your mum! You must have lice
that is stopping you from knowing what is right and what is wrong,
boy!

What about these........

'Newsgroups run on an outdated and discontinued platform that is
no longer supported'.

'Forums are also moderated by Microsoft to ensure content is
accurate and to encourage richer conversations.'

According to my cellphone, I am right on time, give or take one
minute. I'm on CST and in daylight savings time. Right now it says
4:39pm. CST
(unless the time on my posts are getting screwed up somehow). Since I
put the time in here, I'll see what time the post actually says.

You're posting in the future... your time zone or UCT time bias is
incorrect. Perhaps DST is not properly set.

OK, it shows 17:08:50 (approx 5:09pm). My system clock is CORRECT,
and matches my cellphone time, as well as the house clocks.
The problem must be somewhere after my computer. WEIRD !!!!
My apologies. I can only suspect that it's on AIOE or some other
fluke in the system.... That's 30 min. off.... VERY STRANGE !!!

Microsoft will close the newsgroups but like everything on this
planet, there is always a way to do the same thing in the same
way. For example, I am able to read forums in my Mozilla
newsreader (but you can use anything like OE, WLM or anything you
may think of). The only thing you need is NNTP Bridge from your
tried and tested source - MICROSOFT. The link is here:

<http://connect.microsoft.com/MicrosoftForums/content/content.aspx?ContentID=13820>

Microsoft likes using connectors for almost everything these days
- Outlook Connector, NNTP Connector, next you will get Office
Connector and SQL Server Connector! It is all about connectors
connectors and more connectors

Q: How is Microsoft closing newsgroups in phases?

A: Microsoft is posting notices in newsgroups that will be closed well in
advance of closure dates. We will begin with newsgroups with the least
active number of users and posts, and by mid-2010, will move to more active
newsgroups that have a higher volume of posts and users.
