test (do not reply)

A test to another discussion forum will not test if the problem I am
experiencing is unique to this discussion forum. For whatever reason,
neither my nor other people's posts were visible starting January 9 through
this morning (January 11).

But it looks like this was an isolated incident that effected me only. You
and others look like you were able to use the forum during those times.

Most of us who see postings are not trying to post or read through the web
interface which is all screwed up and is affecting all who post through that
site.

We use news readers and experience few if any problems.

That's because you're using the most error prone method of accessing
this newsgroup. Do yourself a favor and ditch the web interface and get
a newsreader. There is one included with XP, it's called Outlook
Express. There are also several other free newsreaders available, just
do a google search for newsreaders and take your pick.
