I downloaded the retail version of Office 2010 from my Technet account and
when I put the key in, it says invalid key. What's up?

Thanks

Because Office 2010 is RTM even at TechNet and no key will work. Or contact TechNet
support to get same answer

When retail was mentioned, possibly the referral was to an RTM download - I
have mine from another Microsoft Partner plan -

Is the problem possibly the person tried to load it onto two computers with
only 1 key? My account said more keys would be available on another date.

Why would Technet put a software packagee in the download area with a key
that does not work? I can't get it to work on only one machine, so I have not
exceeded the key limit.
Thanks

Well, as others point out from time to time, this is a public forum, and
now that I know you were not trying to use 1 key for 2 computers, it's a
Technet issue, so use the Technet support method to contact them to
resolve.

BTW, during the RTM install process for my computer, it validated my key
and activated it online - a bit smoother than the beta install process.
