Task Bar Issue

I am running XP SP2 on a Leveno desktop.

My task bar suddenly went from one line to two lines on the bottom left side
of the screen and to 3 lines on the bottom right side of the screen. How do
I get everything back to one line?

First tell me why SP3 hasn't been installed yet and what other updates you
may be missing?

Note: Extended Support for WinXP SP2 ends on 10 July 2010. After that date,
computers running WinXP SP2 will NOT be offered any further critical
security updates, Automatic Updates will not work, and Windows Update
website will not be accessible until SP3 is installed.

Right-click in a blank part of the middle of the Taskbar...this will
bring up a context menu.
In the menu that pops up, if there is a check-mark next to Lock The
Taskbar, click it to remove the check-mark.

Now move your mouse pointer to the top edge of the Taskbar, till the
pointer turns into a 2-headed arrow, pointing up and down.
While it is a 2-headed arrow, click and hold the left (primary) mouse
button, and drag the top of the Taskbar down slowly, till it turns into
a single line again, then release the mouse button.

Now you can right-click inside the Taskbar again, and in the menu, click
to put a check next to Lock The Taskbar, so it can't move.
