System has recovered from a serious error

Ever since getting this error message, my computer has been running slow,
having lines pop up across the screen sporadically, black screen, and frozen
pages. I have tried system restore to a date where I know it was not
happening ~ it did NOT fix the problem. I do have kids ~ and I have no idea
if they downloaded anything that could be causing this. I ran my spysweeper
with anti-virus ~ nothing came up.
Please help ;~) Thanks. Michelle

Michelle, try Memtest a free program that checks your Ram. Also,
give the information below a look It's for Win2000 but it will work for
WinXP.

Your current a/v software is usually compromised when you're infected.
Try these:

Malwarebytes© Corporation
http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam/program/mbam-setup.exe

SuperAntispyware

I don't know what all the codes mean, but I would suspect a failing
video card. All the symptoms you describe are consistent with it, and
are not typical of a virus infection.

I would suggest replacing the video card.
