LPH submitted a new resource:

Student Learning Instruction Plan - A lesson plan template based on the 5Es for science instruction

If you download and modify this template then please let everyone know your changes and how they worked in the classroom.

While this lesson plan template is built for science teachers, any teacher may modify the template to fit the needs of their classroom.

A lesson plan should be developed for one topic or one concept. Use the 5Es to scaffold the lesson so all students are proficient in the topic by the end of the lesson plan.

I find numbering each lesson plan helps students stay organized. The title is also helpful for organizing the content. Let the students know the number and title of the lesson - so that they can add it to their notes.

I'm looking at this and realized that POGIL should be integrated into the planning.
