Does this repost mean you can't actually get into the m/c in order to change
your account details as explained by Ken?

If so, you will have to find someone who can remember their log in details
to do it for you.

It arrived here and I already answered it. But since the answer was
short, I'll repost it:

Start | Run, type "control userpasswords2" Select the account you want
to logon to automatically. Then uncheck the box "Users must enter a
user name and password to use this computer."

Or do the same thing with TweakUI.

Thanks, Ken

Weird happenings. Again posted reply but don't see it on my end.

In answer to your instructions, the user name box is already unchecked.
