So they are stand alone. Good for you. 99.999999% of MAINSTREAM programs
that were written in the last 10 years DO write to the registry...

Why not just image the C drive? MUCH easier.
And how many times do you do this anyway?
The only time I last installed Windows was when I converted to Win 7 nearly
a year ago...
