Hey shit for brains, he was the one who said 10.4 not me. I just "reported"
what I read. I guess those Ubuntu users are not very smart if they can't
even figure out which version of that INFERIOR OS they are trying to use.
Oops.

Again. None of those are cryptic. You obviously need to look up
the word in a dictionary.

They entered 4 command line commands.

LOL!!!!! How many cryptic command line command does it take to
recover the Windows boot loader using the Windows CD ?

It takes 3 command line commands.

No, you can't. Your link was about someone trying to install the BETA.

To someone who doesn't know what any of the commands mean, it's cryptic.
They have no idea what the codes are. You should look up the word.

99.99999% of the Windows users would never need to enter a line command.

99.99999% of Linux users WOULD need to enter a line command to fix simple
shit.

You don't need command lines to do the following either:

Email
Surf the web
Burn CDs.
Rip CDs.
Listen to music.
Watch vidoes/DVDs.
Scan and print.
Spreadsheets.
Presentations
Newsgroups.
HTML editing.
Games like Chess, Tetris, all kinds of solitaire, etc.
Make videos.
Download photos from a camera and organize them.
Translations.
Use a dictionary
Learn how to touch type.
Edit images.
Send and receive a fax.
Take screenshots.
Create .PDF files.
Create and use a data base.
Instant messaging with over 10 different programs in one including
Windows Live Messenger.
IRC.
Bluetooth.

and much more!

If linux is so good like Aliass says, why would he even want to run
Windows. Maybe he needs to do something productive instead of playing
with command lines.

Gaming is better in Windows for now. Ever hear of cmd.exe in Windows?

Ain't that the truth, stupid indeed. I spent HOURS trying to recover
from a KSOD in Vista after an update. MS naturally denies that updates
cause the Dreaded KSOD LOL!! (Which is COMPLETE BS) All of that included
lots of so called cryptic command line crap in Winders. At least in
Linux IF a serious problem arises, one CAN recover with command line
commands. Not so in Winders with the most severe KSOD and other
failures. Having the most severe KSOD myself, yep had to do MS
recommended "clean install." So blow it out your A**es about the big bad
command line in Linux, Winders Zealots. IF one HAS to use it in Linux,
it works. Not always so in Winders. (Not referring to you Gordon)

I say if some moron installs ANY beta OF ANY OS on their main computer
rather than a test machine, they very well deserve any problems that
develop. It's a B-E-T-A morons! Even MS advises NOT installing Beta's,
and RC's on one's main computer for obvious reasons. Friggin A, come up
with something better BILL. Furthermore Bill, again it was a B-E-T-A
which ANYONE but morons knows, it can, and most likely will have bugs no
matter the OS. Friggin A man!

G'day
