Some BBC Internet radio stopped working in WMP11 ???

Using WMP11 on WinXP.

I have been using WMP11 to play Radio4 for several years. Now all of sudden
for the last few days I have been unable to play it.

I am using this web link address
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/wm_asx/aod/radio4.asx

Now I can may other internet radio stations such Classic FM, BRMB and even
some other BBC radio stations such as BBC WM, BBC Here&Worc. But I can't
play BBC Radio 2,3 or 4.

Having tried from another WinXP/WMP11 laptop PC connected to the internet
via the same routter I can play Radio4.

When it fails to play it just sits there for ages saying connecting to
media, after a while I get red cross next to the station in the playlist
panel.

Whats happened to my WMP11 to stop it working with certain Radio stations ?

Head to the small dropdown menu below Now Playing, choose More Options
and then the Network tab.

Ensure that RTSP/TCP and HTTP are both ticked, and that you can
un-tick then re-tick those boxes. If you can't change the state,
mention it as there are issues with some files on the PC, or with your
user account permissions.

I'd also ensure the Steaming Proxy Settings are set to Proxy = None
(click each "Protocol" then the Configure... button to set it to None)

HTH

I checked the "More Options", all protocols were set. Also I was able to
uncheck/check the options without problems.

It seems however that process of just unchecking and then rechecking the
protocol/proxy options has cleared my problems. Even though all the options
are exactly the same now as they were before.

I Can't explain why this fix my problem but it worked ???
