shut down after restart

Computer shuts down after seconds of start. Sometimes it goes to windows and
sometime even before it. Power button or reset wont work until i have to
unplug the power cord for a while and than it starts normally and works
fine. No message or signal.

What could be the cause and cure?

Probably it's the power supply.

you might see if safemode
is stable.

simply hold down the f8
key during booting and
you'll get the diagnostic
boot menu.

let us know.

It sounds to me like overheating. Check to make sure all of the fans are
running when you are able to reproduce the problem.

Power supply fan is not running. But problem happens when computer starts so
heating should not be the case. what you say?

I think problem is solved. I am using power button rather than hotkey to
start the PC and so far its going well.
