This is probably so simple and obvious that I will kick myself when I learn
how easy it is to do ...

I can find lots of information on sharing whole notebooks. I want to do
something much simpler. I want to be able to create a single page (say for
example, notes from a meeting) and email that single page in its native
OneNote format to multiple recipients. Once they receive if, I want them to
be able to add the page to whatever folder or section of their own OneNote
notebooks they choose to.

1. Select that page
2. File, E-Mail

Now a new e-mail window from your standard mail program should open;
with two attachments: the selected page as *.one file (what you need)
and as a *.mht file (only readable by IE, can be deleted).
Add recipients and text. Send.

The recipient should open the attachment in ON (double click within
their mail program). It's opened in a special mode "like" a notebook.
(The main difference is that is automatically closed when ON is closed.)
Now he can copy or move the "page" to an existing open notebook.
