I have a need to have more than on version of windows installed on my
computer. I have heard that XP can do this. Where can I go to get
the details on how to accomplish this. TIA

You can install XP a second time

but it needs to be installed on a second partition.

Additionally you will need a second license

are you sure you need a 2nd installation?

It might be better to just use a Virtual Machine if this is for testing
purposes - Try Virtual PC 2007 SP1 -

Yes, you can, but Windows doesn't work or play well with other OSes even
itself. And you would be better off, too, using a third party Boot
Manager. It would be easier (and safer) to use Virtual Machines. That
way none of the OSes know about the others, they are 100% isolated, and
you can run them all concurrently, if you have enough RAM.

Someone suggested VirtualPC, but VirtualBox is better IMO. Of course,
there's always the Rolls Royce of VMs--VMWare. Check your hardware to
see if it meets the necessary minimum requirements for virtualization.
