Server 2003

I can't find Server 2003 news group so will post here as it is kinda general
question. If there is Server 2003 news group and someone will point me to it,
I'll gladely go there. My C drive is full. Data drive D has plenty of space.

1) I've searched for log files and find numerous of considerable size on C
drive. Is there a way to tell which (other than old dates) which log files
are necessary and which can be deleted?

2) I also have several no longer users showing in AD and in Documents &
Settings. Are there problems w/deleting users from AD and if I do, will that
remove them from D&S w/o causing problems? Or do I remove them from AD and
them D&S?

3) Is there a simple way to resize C using part of D drive w/o having to
reload and reconfigure server?

Thanks in advance.

Does anyone know why after checking Notify Me of Replies below I never get
notified? Email is correct.

Hi Ken

The managed support service of the newsgroup Windows Server General is now
available instead on:

Windows Server
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/category/windowsserver

Also to access the MS Forums via your OE ,you would need to install a NNTP bridge

Another "Non Microsoft" support NNTP Bridge can be found here
MS Web-Forums via an open source NNTP newsserver (bridge).

Starting in early summer 2010, Microsoft will begin progressively closing down the
Microsoft public newsgroups to enrich conversations in the rapidly-growing forum
platform. This decision is in response to worldwide market trends and evolving
customer needs.

Microsoft continues to invest in forums to reduce customer effort, consolidate
community venues and make it easier for active contributors to retain their
influence. Forums provide a healthy community environment with less spam and make
answers easier to find by customers and search engines. Additionally, forums offer
a better user and off-topic management platform that will improve customer
satisfaction by facilitating discussions in a clean space.

We understand that some newsgroups are still active, and important to the community.
In the coming days and weeks, we will be rolling out tools and resources to minimize
disruption to the community discussions.

We are working diligently on providing additional resources and information in local
languages later this week. In the meantime, please refer to the official Microsoft
Newsgroup website http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/default.mspx
concerning this issue. The Microsoft Newsgroup website will be made available in
additional languages in the next few days.
