Hi,

When I send an email to ONeNote, I would like to have a link back to the
original email. Is that possible?

Hello,
To the best of my knowledge, this cannot be done out of the box.
However...
There is this nice tool called Linker for Windows, available for free, which
basically captures and places the hyperlink to an Outlook item to clipboard.
You can download it here
http://www.softpedia.com/get/Internet/E-mail/Mail-Utilities/Linker-for-Windows.shtml
Now, it probably will not work right away, because by default Outlook URL
protocol is not enabled. There is a good instruction on how to enable it here:
http://www.davidtan.org/outlook-2007-adding-outlook-url-protocol/

When you have this setup, you just open an email in Outlook, right click on
Linker in system tray and select Outlook Item Link. Then you just paste it to
ON and that's it.
I used the instructions and the tool and it works for me.
Let us know if it did for you.

Petar,

Thanks very much for the quick reply. I'll try it and let you know.

I'd also like to offer a suggestion. I've offered this once in the past,
but failed to flesh it out. I call it "One Look". It's an integration of
Outlook and OneNote, utilizing OneNote to navigate and operate Outlook. (For
people who own both of course). I know it seems daunting, but considering
the current tech landscape, I think the time is right.

Regards,
Stuart
