Section Tabs

When sending a OneNote notebook to another user, is there a way to keep the
section tabs locked? In my folder, it lists them the way I set it up 1.1,
1.2, 2.1, 2.2 and so on. I packed it and sent it to her, but when she opened
it, the numbers were all moved around and had to be put back in order. We
send files to each other often and having to reorder will got old fast.
Thanks for any help. Laura

You should copy the *.onetoc2 file from the notebook's folder in
addition to all the *.one files (= sections).

But beware:
The *.onetoc2 file is a "hidden" file !

Hello Laura,
Bernd has a point there, this should do the trick for you.
I'd just like to point out that in OneNote 2010 there will be an option to
save to SkyDrive. That way, you will not need to pack and send it over. The
other user can just open it from SkyDrive, as it was on a network share.
Also, it will enable you to easily highlight all the changes that were made
by the other user.
Regards,
Petar
