screen saver

Hello there,
Is there any way to prevent the screen saver from appearing when it is
set to on, other then to touch my mouse and keyboard, like a continuos
ping to a machine will prevent it? Thank you, T

Do you want the screen saver on or do you want it off? Your question
suggests that you want it both ways at once, which is not possible.

You do know that you can change the length of time before the screen
saver activates, don't you?
