Scanner No Longer Recognized

I'm using XP Home and added a Belkin N Router. Since then my HP 4320 scanner
is no longer recognized as being installed (I uninstalled and reinstalled
scanner software but it didn't help). I called Belkin and they said it is an
HP problem. I called HP and they told me it's an XP problem. I sure could
use some help resolving this issue. Thanks, Rick

What happens if you remove the Belkin and reinstalled the scanner?

Assuming that your "4320 scanner" is connected to your computer via a
USB cable, I can't imagine what adding a router would have to do with it.

I couldn't find any mention of anything with that product number on the
hp site, but assuming it's similar to the ScanJet 4300, see these:

Or try Scott's suggestion.
