Runtime Error

I get a runtime error when I try to sign into AOL mail through Internet
Explorer. It works okay until I try to sign into my mail account, and after
I enter my screenname and password and hit enter and it goes to the "Loading"
screen, I get:

Runtime Error!

Program: CProgram Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe

abnormal program termination

Then the mail stops loading, and if I hit the Close button, it closes the
error message and the Internet Explorer window. The version of Internet
Explorer I have is version 8.0.6001.18904. I tried to fix it by seeing if
there were IE updates, but the site says that my IE needs no updates. What
do I do?

Try uninstalling the Google toolbar using Control Panel-Add/Remove.

Another user receiving runtime errors fixed it by disabling McAfee's
Anti-Phishing filter.

Yet tried running IE8 in its no add-ons mode?
Yet tried rebooting into Safe Mode (with networking) and retest?
Yet purged your TIF folder and all cookies?
